TEAM
The Club Baseball team is a part of the National College Baseball Association (NCBA) as a Division III program. The team competes in the fall and the spring against other local NCAA club programs in conference and exhibition games, offering students a chance to play year-round. While all students are welcome to attend practices, the team will send 15 to 18 players to play in games.
MISSION STATEMENT
Hillsdale College Club Baseball strives to offer an opportunity for former competitive and casual baseball players to continue playing baseball at a competitive level against other collegiate teams without the commitment of a varsity sport. The club is dedicated to fostering a competitive and team-oriented environment where students can continue their passion for baseball while representing Hillsdale College on and off the field.
COMMITMENT
The team practices three days a week while playing on weekends four or five times per semester. The NCBA season runs throughout the whole year, so students are expected to commit to playing in the fall and in the spring. Commitment to the team and our goals is necessary for the growth of the program.
TRYOUTS
While all students are encouraged to participate, a tryout at the beginning of the year will determine who will travel to the games. Tryouts for the team will be held at the beginning of the fall semester.

Thomas Scherer, Club President
“Club Baseball at Hillsdale allows students a chance to continue playing the sport they love while making strong friendships along the way. Some of my best memories here have been made through playing club baseball, whether that's the highs of winning or even grabbing food with the guys after a long day of playing. The team is more than just a team, it's a brotherhood. Club Baseball at Hillsdale is growing into something that's truly special.”
