TEAM

The Cycling Club is a team of men and women who compete in gravel, mountain bike, and road events, working to foster a competitive riding environment through structured training rides and intercollegiate competitions.

MISSION STATEMENT

The club cycling team works to foster a competitive environment through structured training rides and friendly rivalry. We are a student-led team driven by the active participation of every member. Though we are a club team, we know student life is busy. All participation is encouraged and supported but not mandatory.

COMMITMENT

The cycling team trains twice a week and competes two to three times a semester. These competitions usually take place within two hours of the college.

TRYOUTS

Students are encouraged to try out for the team at any point during the year. The team welcomes anyone with experience in either recreational or competitive cycling.

Support Club Cycling. Make a donation.

We need your support to make Club Cycling possible. Using the “Donate” button below, fill out our online donation form and write “Designate this gift to Club Cycling” the comment section at the bottom.

Every year the Club Cycling team needs about $3,000 to cover the expenses of transportation, race fees, and training equipment.

Gabe Dobrozsi, former Cycling Club President

Hillsdale, like its name suggests, is surrounded on all sides by gorgeous farmland and countryside, rolling hills and dales, and gravel roads leading in all directions. The hills aren’t exactly formidable—the highest climb around here offers at most 50m of elevation gain—but the countryside itself offered me a serene way to escape from campus.
