Academic Counseling

Get free, one-on-one academic coaching in time management, test prep, study strategies or managing specific learning disabilities. For help in identifying and achieving your academic goals, contact us to set up an appointment.

Writing Center-Main Location

Our trained peer tutors work with you at any stage of the writing process—brainstorming, drafting, revising, and editing—to strengthen your writing skills. You can also use the Writing Center as a quiet study space.

Make an appointment on Handshake here! Same Day appointment sign-ups are available on the clipboard at the top of the stairs by the Old Snack Bar.

Writing Center: Satellite @ Mossey

All of the same services as the Writing Center Main Location, conveniently located on Heaven in Mossey Library. Stop by anytime the center is open, no appointment necessary!

**Because most Writing Center appointments are during practice times, athletes get first priority for drop-in on these evenings.

Departmental Tutoring

Many departments at Hillsdale College provide peer tutors. We can help you find these and other free resources to help your semester run smoothly. Students and tutors work out meeting times and compensation individually.
